Police Mystery Shopper Visits: Supporting the "Ask Angela" Campaign.
As part of our ongoing commitment to community safety, officers have carried out “mystery shopper” visits at 18 pubs and hotels across Ellesmere Port and Neston. These visits test how well venues respond to safeguarding concerns and support vulnerable people, through the "Ask Angela" campaign.
16 venues passed and showed excellent awareness and action to keep everyone safe.
2 venues did not meet expectations and will receive further support and guidance.
The Ask Angela campaign empowers anyone who feels unsafe or uncomfortable to discreetly ask staff for help. We’re grateful to all the staff and management who are helping us make Ellesmere Port and Neston a safer place for everyone.
